Eva Storrusten is a Norwegian artist and architect located in Oslo. With a mixture of acoustic instruments and electronic elements, her music balances the genres of jazz, improvisation and indie pop. Through her music, she aspires to inspire her listeners music to be present, and meet their emotions and life situations with courage and peace. In 2024, the single "This is goodbye," received a top rating (6/6) in the Norwegian Newspaper VG. The music from the album “Through Darkness” is written about facing life´s challenges, where yoga, jazz and improvisation have inspired the songs. The lyrics are personal, about facing break ups, walking new paths in life, and allowing light to shine through darkness. "Through Darkness" was released Feb 14 2025, received good reviews and was celebrated with a concert at Byens tak April 3.
